Alice is the first to move, near wrenching herself from Jasper's grasp as she moves to the living room, to the couches. She huddles in the corner of one couch, eyes closed.

She knows there's going to be yelling and she's so worn thin, she's not sure how much of it she'll be able to handle. As everyone moves into the room behind her, she looks up at Esme.
